Services

One system, not more content.

The stories are already there. What's missing is the system that gets them published, working together, and connecting with somebody specific.

Start here

Tell me what you're working on.

Send me a note about what you're working on and who you're trying to reach. I'll read it and get back to you with an honest answer: whether it's a fit, and what I'd do first.

From there it goes one of two ways. If the pattern isn't clear yet, we start with a communications audit: fixed scope, fixed fee, and a report you own whether or not you hire me next. If you're far enough along that you already know what you need, we skip the audit and go straight to the work.

The ongoing work

Then we build the thing that keeps working.

This is the work that changes things, whether we get there through an audit or you arrive already knowing what you need.

Find the message.

What you stand for, said the same way every time. Positioning, key messages, the one-pager your whole staff can use.

Build the system.

The machine that gets it out the door: calendar, newsletter, website support, one piece of work turned into five.

Put it in front of people.

Outreach, partnerships, and visibility for specific programs and specific moments. Press pitching, event visibility, partner introductions.

Who it's for

What this looks like for you.

Say Yes for Arts & Culture

One message your whole organization can use, so press, funders, boards, and audiences hear the same story.

Say Yes for Small Business

Communications that run on a system instead of on whoever has time this week.

A crowded gallery opening, colorful portrait paintings on the walls

Same method either way. What changes is who we're trying to move.

How it works

How it works.

It starts with a conversation.

You tell me what you're working on. I tell you whether it's a fit and what I'd do first.

Then an audit, or straight to the work.

The audit is for when the pattern isn't clear yet. Projects end with a deliverable. Retainers are for organizations that need the system run, not just built, essentially fractional communications management. Most of my work is retainer, and most of it has lasted years.

You're working with me.

Not an account manager, not a rotating team.

Not sure which one you need?

You don't have to be. Tell me what you're working on and who you're trying to reach. If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so.
