These terms cover two things: using this website, and the general basis on which Say Yes Enterprises LLC, doing business as Say Yes Communications ("Say Yes," "we," "us"), takes on consulting work. By using this site or engaging us for services, you agree to what's below.

The website

This site is informational. Nothing on it is a guarantee of results, and using it doesn't create a client relationship on its own; that starts with a signed proposal or agreement. Content on this site (copy, design, photos we own) belongs to Say Yes and shouldn't be copied or reused without asking.

Consulting engagements

Every paid engagement, whether a one-time project like an audit or an ongoing retainer, is governed by its own written proposal, statement of work, or contract covering scope, timeline, and fee. These general terms fill gaps that a specific agreement doesn't address; where the two conflict, the signed agreement controls.

• Scope. We do the work described in the agreement. Anything outside that scope is a separate conversation and, usually, a separate fee.
• Payment. Fees, invoicing schedule, and payment method are set out in the individual agreement or invoice. Late payment can pause work until resolved.
• Client materials. You're responsible for the accuracy of information, images, and materials you give us to use in the work.
• Deliverables and ownership. Final deliverables you've paid for are yours to use once paid in full, unless the agreement says otherwise. Our internal process, templates, and frameworks remain ours.
• Cancellation. Either side can end an engagement with reasonable written notice; work completed and time spent up to that point is billable.

No guarantees

Strategic communications work can produce strong results, but we don't promise a specific outcome (media placement, donor conversion, sales, and so on). We bring judgment and experience, not certainty.

Limits on liability

To the extent allowed by law, Say Yes isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from our services or this site. Our total liability for any engagement is capped at the fees paid for that engagement.

Third-party links and tools

This site links to and uses third-party tools (scheduling, forms, payment links). We aren't responsible for those providers' content, availability, or how they handle your data once you're on their platform; see our Privacy Policy for more on that.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Signed client agreements are unaffected by later changes here.
